The role of Night Manager works great for me when considering the work/life balance on a 4 night a week rota, giving me plenty of opportunity to spend time with my young family.

It is an exciting time because there’s a lot going on across the business, from new store formats to food service and improvements to the existing estate. We are still shaping how things are done, so there is a real opportunity to influence projects and be part of building something for the future.

We bring commercial insight, challenge and programme management together to deliver the best outcomes for ASDA. We thrive on collaboration, innovation and accountability.

We’re at the cutting-edge of delivering the business’ strategy; collaborating with colleagues in the Property team and the wider business to deliver projects that shape and improve the in-store customer experience.

It’s an environment where ideas thrive and no two days ever feel the same. I’ve also had the opportunity to complete a leadership and management course to accelerate my growth and development.

I think because the teams are so supportive, we feel more comfortable in failing.

There's so much training that goes on here. It's amazing for me. I believe that I will be supported here.

There's a mentorship programme and it's really helpful to speak to someone who has been in my position. Having that understanding of where I am, compared to where I will be in my career, is really helpful.

From being able to study CIMA and rotate into different roles across Finance, to meeting like minded people - the experience has been amazing so far.
